The San Francisco County market place continued the torrid pace of previous years. Here are quick take aways from 2018…
New Listings were up showing that maybe some sellers may believe that we’ve reached the home selling peak. Pending Sales were up over 2017 but did not reach the crazy levels established in 2014. Similar comparisons can be made for Sold Listings which were up in 2018 but did not reach 2014 levels.
Active Listings were actually down in 2018 versus 2017 showing that the dearth of inventory continued last year.
The lack of inventory contributed to ever rising prices. Median and Average Sale Prices were up over 2017. Days on Market was the lowest since 2014 and the percentage of List Price Received was over 110% showing that we still have a very competitive marketplace.
This is a great report which should allow for deep diving. As always, I am here to help navigate the stormy waters with you.
